Founded in 2002, IGLcert is solely dedicated to the Certification and Valuation of Gemstones and Jewellery, aiming to recognize and attribute real value where it really exists.
Jewellery is more than an investment; it is also inextricably linked to art and culture. Our efforts are directed toward preserving the uniqueness and authenticity of each precious stone.
The primary and unwavering goal of IGLcert is to remain the leading Gemological Institute in Greece while also establishing ourselves as one of the most reliable and respected worldwide by expanding our international collaborations.
Simultaneously, we maintain our absolute expertise, embrace technological advances in gemology, and, of course, ensure the integrity and objectivity of our gem reports.
Founded in 2002, IGLcert is solely dedicated to the Certification and Valuation of Gemstones and Jewellery, with the goal of attributing real value where it really exists. We have earned the trust of customers and the market over the years by providing world-class gem reports, diamond classification, and specialist and detailed valuation and appraisal of gems and jewelry.
The Independent Gemological Laboratory (IGLcert) belongs to the official worldwide International Consortium of Gem-Testing Laboratories (ICGL). ICGL’s strict criteria regarding the ethics, prestige and professionalism of its member laboratories, which cover only a dozen private labs worldwide, make this an especially significant achievement.
IGLcert is also a member of the Association of Independent Jewellery Valuers (AIJV), based in Scotland, the National Association of Jewellery Appraisers (NAJA), and the Jewellery Valuers Association UK (JVA). In addition, we are the only Greek member of the Jewellery Appraisers of the World (JAW).
We collaborate with the most highly regarded international gemological institutes and issue the most respected Greek Gemological Reports, as our valuations are based on an international grading system. At the same time, we offer the highest levels of security and objectivity possible, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of every report we issue with the necessary expertise.
